Date and Time: Saturday, February 18th from 10:30am - 12:30pm
Location: Tieton Fueling Station
Details: This Saturday, Tieton Arts & Humanities welcomes Naches artist Ana Li Gresham to share with us a fun 3D painting technique, where we cut and layer cardboard and then paint on top of our designs! Stop by 519 Maple from 10:30-12:30 with your favorite elementary schooler, meet new friends and try something new, and leave with something unique! We hope to see you there! Bring a friend! Free for the whole family, but donations are always appreciated to keep us going.
The first and third Saturday of every month, throughout the summer and school year, a Teaching Artist comes to Tieton to share with kids the thing they do best. In the future, on complementing Saturdays, we will partner with the Yakima Valley Libraries to offer a read-aloud and accompanying craft project, sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish. Usually, parents or caregivers stay for the duration, often participating alongside kids. In the ‘21–’22 school year, activities and attendance have tended toward the younger grades, yet as the program progresses, we are creating additional experiences designed for older children. Check Instagram or Facebook to see what we’re up to next!
