Week One: Color

In this workshop we will learn about primary colors, and how they mix to make secondary colors. We will make our own color wheel, try blending colors, and experiment with using color to show emotions. Then we learn about the artists Georgia O’Keefe, Mark Rothko, and Jake Prendez. Last but most fun, we make our own tie-dyed bandanas to experience for ourselves what happens when two primary colors blend together.
