about

Tieton Arts & Humanities is taking on the challenges of the new norm we're all just trying to navigate. Traditionally, Upper Valley teachers submit art from their K-12 students for the annual TA&H's Student Art Show. Now that distance learning is the status quo and artmaking in the home is more present than ever, we're opening the show up in a whole new way.

Parents and students (now from all over the Valley) were invited to directly submit (at a no human contact drop off box) their art for a virtual art show. Since the original April 25 Student Art Show Opening Reception will be postponed, the art will be showcased online and all over the Mighty Tieton social media channels with a gallery opening at later date, TBD.

April 22, 2020 marks the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, and in honor of that, TA&H is participating in the “Billion Acts of Green” campaign. We encourage students to create work out of natural, recycled, upcycled, or repurposed materials, or for the imagery to relate to loving this planet we call home.
