Many of TA&H’s programs are free of charge or offer scholarships to participants. TA&H supports itself through direct mail fundraising appeals to local and regional companies, and individuals who have participated in Mighty Tieton events and activities. Individuals are solicited for individual project support, and we have contribution boxes at each event. (LiTFUSE and Your Story Matters workshops charge tuition, although some scholarships are offered to individual students who would benefit from the program.) Our programs grow in quality and creative ambition each year.
TA&H depends on the involvement and support of many for-profit and non-profit organizations, many of which are listed above. None of our events could survive without support of in-kind donations, direct contributions, or pro bono gifts of labor, time, talent, insurance services, and material resources. We thank our generous supporters.
TA&H has made a difference in the cultural life of Tieton. Through the efforts of Mighty Tieton and related enterprises, Tieton has branded itself as a destination for art, literature, and creative enterprises. TA&H’s efforts are key to keeping these aspirations alive and viable.
TA&H recognizes that the Latino population could be more actively engaged in the arts and cultural programming. It has developed close relationships with the City of Tieton, local orchardists, church groups, and educators in the community. They all encouraged our efforts to add to the economic and cultural opportunities of the Upper Valley. TA&H’s programming demonstrates a commitment to a wide and diverse community.
